Lady Gaga Postpones New Album Chromatica Due to Coronavirus

Lady Gaga has postponed the release of her new album Chromatica. She has not revealed the new release date for her record, which was slated to arrive on April 10. She explained, “This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.” Find Lady Gaga’s note below.

Chromatica is Lady Gaga’s follow-up to Joanne and the soundtrack to A Star Is Born. The record includes her single “Stupid Love.”

The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has led to countless canceled shows, tours, and festivals. Now, as Gaga has done, many musicians are now delaying the release of new music. HAIM, Kelly Lee Owens, and JARV IS… have all pushed back release dates due to COVID-19.
